Professional Active Events Coverage

Rocky Trail Entertainment is now one of the biggest cycling events companies in Australia. Pepper was lucky enough to help Rocky Trail cover one of their recent events at the fantastic Sugerbag MTB trails in Caloundra.

Believing in the power that stories have, we didn’t just film the great riding at the 3 races held over the weekend, but also spoke to the top riders and organisers to really capture what Rocky Trail is all about.

Pump Track Challenge

Let’s start with our favourite first!… With the recent updates to the Sugerbag MTB park, brought with it a brand-new Pump Track so for the first time ever Rocky Trail held the Pump Track Challenge. Music blasting, spectators under the Redbull tent and excitement levels are high as the best riders from all over QLD push each other around a never before ridden pump track.

Schools Challenge

With more and more kids getting into mountain biking, it is great to see the support that Rocky Trail is getting with their school event. With schools from all over the Sunshine Coast bringing students along for the day, live scoring, a great venue with amenities and food vans, as well as a fun and relaxed competition format, there was nothing but fun to be had by all!!

Shimano GP

The Shimano GP by Rocky Trail brought the fastest and fittest bike riders on the coast to go head-to-head in a massive all-out race.

Either racing for 4 hours solo or in a relay team, this event really pushed everyone to do the best they could and still managed to be a fun and inclusive event.
