Zempire® is the little New Zealand camping empire built by husband-and-wife team Richard and Sophie Knauf. From small beginnings, a dedication to smart design and “the last 10%” (These are the design features that elevate a product to something you’ll want to tell your friends about.) has seen this Kiwi company quietly build a global community of devoted fans.

We love shooting product video, and how excited were we for the opportunity to produce this for Zempire? Being outdoors is where we thrive, coupled with an amazing product to shoot, this was definitely one of our most memorable video projects.

The Brief

"To create engaging content for an international brand to be displayed in BCF Stores nationwide."

We used our local Sunny Coast knowledge to help Zempire scout the perfect location to showcase their epic camping gear.

We helped the Zempire team feel at ease and supplied them with all the luxuries you would find in a typical studio, thanks to our 4×4 Production Van fully equipped with a change room, makeup station and some much-needed shade. Our producer also doubled as a barista providing full-service coffees, snacks, and bottled water.

How We Helped

We created an awesome 60 second video sharing the features and benefits of the products, while engaging the audience through a fun storyline.

From this we also produced a series of short clips which were edited, colour corrected, and ready to be used across all Zempire social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Our work with Zempire will be displayed across screens in the popular camping chain store BCF nationwide. Zempire receives and continues to receive raving 5-star reviews for their outstanding range of products.
